Xmas Tree Decorating Ideas From 1969

Christmas Tree (1969)
Here’s some great examples of late ’60s holiday decorating. All of these Christmas trees are from a 1969 issue of Better Homes & Gardens. I’m particularly fond of the white flocked trees. If you’re looking for inspiration or ideas on how to give your own Christmas tree some swinging sixties flair these images might come in handy.

  1. Wow – I really love the flower one. I think it'd be strangely appropriate here in Australian, since Christmas is in summer. People do all the fake snow and snowmen over here, too, but it just doesn't sit right with me.

  2. It's a great idea for those who keep their tree all year round. I'm planning to that one of these years and decorate the tree for every holiday or season. For instance, I'll love the flower idea for Mother's Day or spring and summer theme.
